To
All Hammerin' Hank Veterans; my name is Jim "Heavy" Hoey and I was onboard the
USS Henry B. Wilson (DDG-7) from February 1974 to August 1977 and made both the
1975 and 1976 Westpac's.
I was "on-watch" in Combat
Information Center (CIC) assigned as the ships Air Search Operator for
Operations Eagle Pull, Frequent Wind and the Rescue and Recovery of the SS
Mayaguez and crew.
I went on to serve 26 years
in the Navy, and 14 years working for the Department of the Navy (DON) at SPAWAR
San Diego, CA.
I just recently launched a new Disabled Veteran owned business
called Faith-Freedom found at:
https://faithfreedomco.org
My Mission: To employ Disabled Veterans to help them improve their lives!
My Goal: The better I do, the more disabled veterans I can help and gives jobs
to.
Pay Forward:
I plan to annually donate a percentage of what my
business earns to the veteran's organizations I'm currently a Life Member of
which include; The American Legion, Disabled American Veterans (DAV), Veterans of
Foreign Wars (VFW) and Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA).
In addition to The USS Henry B. Wilson (DDG-7)
Association, and the Koh Tang SS Mayaguez Veterans Organization.
Thank you for your support!
